ABSTRACT
The study focuses on the increase in fatigue strength welded components considering grinding as post treatment. This is examined based cruciform joints and transverse non-load-carrying attachment most relevant critical applications regard to rail vehicle structures with focus track laying machines. Firstly, starts determination of a new welding parameter for joint S960 high steel. verified by t8/5-time analysis hardening measurements weld seam. Secondly, received set compared current literature about joints. Furthermore, lifetime curves are an as-welded ground condition. Finally, determined summarised, which shows that FAT-class also increases increasing yield case specimens.
