ABSTRACT
Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) are eco-friendly solvents with considerable potential for extracting bioactive compounds. In this study, we aimed to extract phenolic compounds from Hass avocado residues (epicarp and seed) using NADES in combination ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) pressurized liquid (PLE) as advanced processes. Ten eutectic mixtures, consisting of choline chloride (ChCl) or betaine hydrogen bond acceptors (HBA), well fructose (Fru), glucose, lactic acid (Lac), citric acid, glycerol donors (HBD), were prepared through stirring heating. The estimated values total phenol content (TPC), proanthocyanidin (PAC), monomeric anthocyanin (MAC), antioxidant capacity the extracts demonstrated a noticeable influence these solvents. PLE process significantly enhanced epicarp, evidenced by TPC (185 ± 9 mg gallic equivalent/g dry sample) PAC (77.8 6 B2/g values. Phytochemical characterization conducted via HPLC-QTOF-MS/MS revealed great ChCl:Fru ChCl:Lac, improvement efficiency PLE. results suggest that employing innovative along processes, especially under high pressures, provides sustainable approach recover agro-industrial waste, thus enabling their valorization.
