ABSTRACT
To identify work sectors with high risk for work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in Korean men and women.We analyzed nationwide data to ergonomic factors employees. In particular, we on exposure five (painful/tiring postures, lifting/moving heavy materials, standing/walking, repetitive hand/arm movements, vibration) according employment sector, sex, age, using the 2014 Fourth Working Conditions Survey. We also used workers' compensation MSDs 2010, which is available by sex.The different had gender distributions. "Manufacturing" (27.7%) "construction" (11.3%) were dominated males, whereas "human health social activities" (12.4%), "hotel restaurants" (11.7%), "education" (10.4%) females. However, "wholesale retail trade" "public administration defense" employed large numbers of males Furthermore, a greater proportion multiple women. For men, "manufacturing" highest MSDs; women, MSDs.Ergonomic interventions workers should consider focus MSDs, factors, largest number workers.
