ABSTRACT
Drought stress is one of the major abiotic factors that cause a significant decline in crop's productivity. It can disturb photosynthesis by inducing oxidative producing reactive oxygen species. Recently, use quantum has gained attention scientists due to its potential positive impacts on plants under conditions. That's why current study was conducted explore impact Zn-quantum dot biochar (QDB) rapeseed growth drought stress. There were four levels QDB, i.e., control (no QDB), 0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.8%, applied w/w basis soil normal irrigation Results showed 0.8%QDB performed significantly better improving seedling's emergence, plant height, number branches/plants, pods/plants, pod length, seed weight/plant, 1000 seeds weight, total biomass At 0.8% QDB levels, photosynthetic rate 9.19%, 11.78%, 13.46% higher than Compared control, transpiration increased 61.40% with 0.2% 123.46% 0.4% 199.71% QDB. The percentage increase stomatal conductance ranged from 44% for 129% In conclusion, potentially reduce improve leaf water contents nutrient uptake rapeseed.
