ABSTRACT
BackgroundIntra-abdominal infection is a common complication of blunt abdominal trauma. Early detection and intervention can reduce the incidence intra-abdominal improve patients' prognoses. This study aims to construct clinical model predicting postsurgical after trauma.MethodsThis retrospective analysis 553 patients with trauma from Department General Surgery 7 medical centers (2011–2021). A 7:3 ratio was used assign derivation validation cohorts. Patients were divided into 2 groups based on whether occurred Multivariate logistic regression least absolute shrinkage selection operator select variables establish nomogram. The nomogram evaluated, validity further evaluated by cohort.ResultsA total 113 diagnosed (20.4%). Age, prehospital time, C-reactive protein, injury severity score, operation duration, intestinal injury, neutrophils, antibiotic use independent risk factors for in (P < .05). area under receiver operating curve (area curve) cohort 0.852 (95% confidence interval, 0.784–0.912) 0.814 0.751–0.902). P value Hosmer-Lemeshow test .135 .891 calibration demonstrated that had high consistency between prediction practical observation. decision also showed better potential application. To facilitate application, we have developed an online at https://nomogramcgz.shinyapps.io/IAIrisk/.ConclusionThe helpful postoperative provides guidance decision-making treatment.
