ABSTRACT
• Comparison of the thermoelectric properties different kinds carbon, nanotubes. Investigation undoped single-walled, multi-walled, as well nitrogen-doped, carbon effect nitrogen-doping method on thermoelectric, performance. Preparation nanotube composites with polythiophenes and, polyethylenimine. UV irradiation allows to tune doping in polymer/carbon nanotube, composites. This work compares various methods prepare (CNT) for applications, focusing mechanisms. We first look at general trends observed Seebeck coefficient and power factor a large number function electrical conductivity. Then we discuss two nitrogen nanotubes these composites, namely either during synthesis, or afterwards by ammonolysis. Finally, through charge transfer from polymer counterpart, including photo-induced switching majority carrier type. As remark, note that processability is negatively influenced some procedures. Best results were achieved unfunctionalized single-walled high content semiconducting CNT species.
