ABSTRACT
Poly-substituted dihydrofurans and tetrahydrofurans have been synthesized through polymer-supported selenium-induced intramolecular electrophilic cyclization, followed by selenoxide syn-elimination or novel nucleophilic substitution cleavage of selenium resin with good yields and purities.
