ABSTRACT
Pathological anxiety is among the most common psychiatric illnesses, but current treatment highly limited. In this study, we investigated potential anxiolytic-like effects of a peptide isolated from Synoeca surinama venom. Rats treated with spent more time exploring open arms elevated plus maze, which indicates an profile for peptide. This study first to show pharmacological use S. venom in anxiety.
