Although enhanced convenience for residents, major impediment towards their adoption high capital ongoing costs. Currently, suppliers require individual buildings fully cover costs, leading low uptake among building managers residents. This study first ruminate that such systems expand beyond with carriers local governments being key beneficiaries. Using real-world case in-field observations, this provides analytical estimates value buildings, in terms operational external cost savings. A probabilistic algorithm developed simulate time components measure stakeholders. We further applied model City Melbourne, evaluate how carrier's market share, size practices managing could determine OPLs. The simulation results reveal direct are characterized followed by governments. describe appropriate funding pricing mechanisms, involving both facilitate commercial viability smaller buildings.
