ABSTRACT
Numerical simulation of sheet metal forming processes has become indispensable in the last decades. Although complexity frictional behaviour is identified as a key factor for prediction accuracy, industry commonly considers constant friction coefficient whole tool. Furthermore, influence roughness distribution tool not yet been addressed. In this study die local an advanced model evaluated three industrial automotive components. The newly implemented (TriboZone) suggested advance or mature process verifications.
