ABSTRACT
Research indicates that Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in Daily Life (ACT-DL) is effective reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety psychosis. During adolescence, vulnerability to psychopathology peaks, creating a window for early interventions, while white matter development ongoing. This study aims examine microstructural after ACT-DL intervention youngsters with mild psychopathology. Forty-five individuals were randomly allocated (n=20) or topic discussion control (TD, n=25). Symptomatology was assessed the Community Assessment Psychic Experiences (CAPE), Montgomery–Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) Experience Sampling Method (ESM). Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) network-connectivity parameters obtained compared before intervention/control condition. Interactions between change condition examined models CAPE positive ESM subclinical psychotic experiences (PE) negative affect (NA) levels. ACT-DL, TD, associated changes on depressive symptom There no significant DWI network connectivity either difference both conditions. In model NA, several regional interactions measures significant, but stratification per provided associations. symptoms, MADRS PE. The findings suggest behavioral (symptom) are more sensitive five-week psychological training than which did not show over time.
