ABSTRACT
Abstract The numerical stability of the explicit precise algorithm, which was developed for viscoplastic materials, analyzed. It found that this algorithm is not absolutely stable. A necessary but sufficient condition deduced. showed time step in calculation should be less than a certain value to guarantee algorithm. Through series examples, analysis on proved reliable. At last, an iterative presented materials. Both theoretical and results unconditionally stable its convergence rate rapid. In practice, can combined obtain reliable with minimum computing costs.
