The effect of team emotional intelligence on team process and effectiveness

ABSTRACT
Abstract Team emotional intelligence is expected to have a significant impact on intrateam conflict and team effectiveness. However, date, there has been dearth of empirical evidence this link. Taking comprehensive approach, our study contributes the literature intelligence. Data collected from 79 teams in South Korean companies reveal that negatively related process (i.e., task relationship conflict) positively effectiveness performance, innovation, cohesion). In addition, moderating effect decoupling conflict. Our findings also indicate decreases negative effects effectiveness, cohesion. We conclude with discussion limitations implications for future research.
