ABSTRACT
SUMMARY Anaplasmosis is caused by a group of obligate intracellular bacteria in the genus Anaplasma , which are transmitted ticks and infect humans, domestic animals wildlife. This study was conducted to determine prevalence molecular characterization spp. semi-wild white yaks sampled Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County, northwest China. Out 332 samples tested, 35 (10·9%) were positive for The rates 6·2% (20/322) 5·3% (17/322) bovis phagocytophilum yaks, respectively. None sample marginale . Two (0·6%) simultaneously A. Sequence analysis 16S rRNA gene revealed two genotypes (ApG1 ApG2) sequence types (ST1 ST2) yaks. first document presence Our findings extend host range species provide more valuable information control management anaplasmosis
