ABSTRACT
The clinical characteristics of patients with COVID-19 were analysed to determine the factors influencing prognosis and virus shedding time facilitate early detection disease progression. Logistic regression analysis was used explore relationships among prognosis, laboratory indexes. predictive value this model assessed receiver operating characteristic curve analysis, calibration internal validation. viral duration calculated using Kaplan-Meier method, prognostic by univariate log-rank Cox proportional hazards model. A retrospective study carried out in Tianjin, China. total 185 included, 27 (14.59%) whom severely ill at discharge three (1.6%) died. Our findings demonstrate that an advanced age, diabetes, a low PaO2/FiO2 delayed treatment should be carefully monitored for progression reduce incidence severe disease. Hypoproteinaemia fever warrant special attention. Timely interventions symptomatic from symptom onset <4 days can shorten shedding.
