ABSTRACT
Abstract Introduction: Tracheal intubation is the optimal method for opening up airways. Performed correctly, it prevents stomach contents from entering respiratory tract and allows asynchronous cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to be conducted during sudden cardiac arrest. An important element of correct proper inflation endotracheal tube cuff. Research has shown that when medical personnel use palpation technique, cuff usually inflated incorrectly. This can result in numerous health complications patient. Methods: research was 2020 on a group paramedics participating 15th International Winter Championship Medical Rescuers Bielsko-Biala (Poland). The aim assess two methods inflating Method A involved using syringe assessing pressure control technique. B manometer. During inflation, both time required complete procedure were recorded. Analysis also whether completion certified Advanced Life Support (ALS) Cardiovascular (ACLS) training had any influence effectiveness procedure. Results: showed significantly more often than those A. However, used, took longer conduct. study ALS or ACLS did not have significant Those who completed courses inflate Conclusions: Inflation by syringe, followed technique balloon, ineffective. Paramedic teams should equipped with manometers used
