ABSTRACT
SrTiO3, Bi2S3, and SrTiO3/Bi2S3 heterojunction were prepared for efficient photocatalytic hydrogen production. was by different weight percentages of Bi2S3 (1, 3, 5, 7%) with SrTiO3. SrTiO3 are exhibited in cubic orthorhombic crystal structures, respectively. The morphologies have existed as nanocubic bar-like Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) results further confirmed the formation heterojunction. photoluminescence (PL) electrochemical impedance (EIS) indicated that reduces rate photogenerated electron–hole pair recombination electron-transfer resistance than pure Bi2S3. effectively separates charge carriers, which enhances production under UV light. shows superior bare due to synergistic effect. (5%) gives 7.7 mmol g–1 within 180 min irradiation.
