ABSTRACT
Stirred membrane reactors allow for catalyst recycling and product separation. However, fouling becomes a major problem limiting such reactors. In this work, the dynamic process mechanism of constant pressure filtration were investigated through experiments combined with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation. The results show that according to Hermia model, model at high shear position is cake low due different particle accumulation speeds. Second, stronger rate or lower transmembrane pressure, easier it system stabilize. smaller porosity ε, larger fraction small particles in filter cake. Finally, work explains from changes radial velocity acceleration micro level.
