ABSTRACT
The structure and in vitro antiproliferative activity of anthocyanins the root tubers a sweet potato variety cv. Bhu Krishna purple leaves promising accession S-1467 were studied with objectives understanding structure-activity relationship comparing leaf tuber anthocyanins. chemical was determined by high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry analysis. A fluorescence-resonance-energy-transfer-based caspase sensor probe had been used to study property, analysis cell cycle performed after staining propidium iodide subsequent fluorescence-activated sorting. Structurally, identical those leaves, but there difference proportion various aglycones present both. This has led distinguishable differences cancer cells. All nine found acylated forms both leaves. However, peonidin derivatives major (33.98 ± 1.41 mg) as well (27.68 1.07 mg). cyanidin comparatively higher (20.55 0.91 than (9.44 0.94 exhibited potential properties MCF-7, HCT-116, HeLa cells, critical role it. significantly against colon cervical whereas slightly greater effect breast
