ABSTRACT
Measurements of PvT properties, vapor pressures, saturated densities, and critical parameters were carried out for trans-1,1,1,4,4,4-hexafluoro-2-butene (R1336mzz(E); CF3CH═CHCF3). Thirty-nine property data in the single phase region along seven isochores R1336mzz(E) obtained temperatures between 333 410 K, pressures up to 5681 kPa, densities 52 1216 kg·m–3 by isochoric method. Twenty-six pressure 287 K temperature at pressure. Twenty-one density observation meniscus disappearance near point break vapor-pressure curve. On basis these measurements, determined as Tc = 403.53 ± 0.01 ρc 513 3 kg·m–3, Pc 2779.2 2.0 kPa. The vapor–pressure correlation is also discussed.
