ABSTRACT
p-(Aminomethyl) benzoic acid (PAMBA) is widely used as hemostatic. As reported in the literature, it also plays an important role synthesis of a series organic compounds, such tranexamic acid, cyclohexadiene, and N-carboxyphenylpyrrole derivatives. In this work, solid–liquid equilibrium solubility PAMBA four binary solvents (water + methanol, water ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol) was measured by static method from 288.15 to 328.15 K at atmospheric pressure. The increases with increasing temperature systems. When content same, order methanol > ethanol 1-propanol 2-propanol. Moreover, determined data were correlated modified Apelblat model, van't Hoff equation, NRTL model. All selected thermodynamic equations well. On basis mixing properties (Gibbs free energy, entropy, enthalpy mixing) calculated, their influence on procedure discussed.
