Green Tycoon is a free-of-charge game-based mobile application that embraces systems thinking approach to introducing students biorefining process model within green chemistry. Players adopt the role of manager in chemical factory, synthesizing fictional compound, Yorkanone. Through upgrading system and engaging with integrated quiz, players can learn fundamental chemistry principles while appreciating some considerations biorefining. was implemented 33 undergraduate where survey feedback demonstrated game innovative helpful tool appreciate importance when designing processes.
