ABSTRACT
The chemistry laboratory can be a daunting place for first year university students, especially those entering one the time with little or no prior experience. Increasing financial constraints placed on secondary schools has restricted ability to provide rich experiences students before tertiary education. As result, cohorts arrive at range of previous experiences. Through surveys first-year student cohort, it was identified that experienced high levels negative feelings respect laboratory. In an attempt alleviate this, 360° virtual tour, including annotations, developed giving access actual they would working in start classes. this technology report, we discuss development tour over three-semester period. After each version resource, conducted evaluation via survey distribution determine if helped familiarity and preparation upcoming program.
