ABSTRACT
Remarkable gas adsorption properties of zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) are believed to be tightly related a flexible nature organic linkers in these compounds. We present low-frequency dielectric spectroscopy study dynamic effects ZIF-90 hybrid compound. Experiments dehydrated framework reveal slow motion the imidazolate-2-carboxyaldehyde linker kilohertz frequency range. Measurements hydrated compound indicate two additional processes adsorbed water molecules. These assigned proton conductivity and relaxation supercooled confined within pores framework. also dynamics vacuum under different atmospheres, revealing that is significantly hindered by guest
