ABSTRACT
A multifunctional microspheric soil conditioner based on chitosan-grafted poly(acrylamide-co-acrylic acid)/biochar [CS-g-P(AM-co-AA)/BC] was prepared. First, the P(AM-co-AA) synthesized and successfully grafted onto CS, three-dimensional network structure of microspheres formed with N,N-methylenebis(acrylamide) as cross-linking agent according to inverse suspension polymerization method. Meanwhile, BC urea were encapsulated into body during polymerization. The analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, polarized optical microscopy, scanning electron mechanism adsorption Cu2+ investigated X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Furthermore, experimental results demonstrated excellent water absorption retention capabilities microspheres, release rate dramatically reduced. Importantly, introduction significantly enhanced performance respect heavy metal ions. Consequently, held promise for use in improvement agricultural production.
