ABSTRACT
The ability to modulate amphiphilic aggregation reversibly with external stimuli, especially using light as a trigger, is of great importance. This has greatly contributed the development applications self-assembly. However, most previously described systems are based on specific molecular design and have shown difficultly in their application light-inert aggregation. Here, we developed general effective approach control morphology aggregates by light, which suitable for different assemblies such micelles, vesicles, helixes. Our strategy construct photoresponsive factor into self-assemblies. On basis capabilities form host-guest inclusions between azobenzene sodium molecules cyclodextrin, transformation corresponding can be controlled easily stimuli. Not only nanostructure but also phase behavior, gel formation, modulated upon irradiation this method.
