ABSTRACT
Liposomal drug delivery for cancer therapy can be limited due to leakage in circulation. Here, we develop a new method enhance the stability of actively loaded liposomal doxorubicin (DOX) through embedding stiff nanobowl water cavity. Nanobowl-supported DOX (DOX@NbLipo) resists influence plasma protein and blood flow shear force prevent leakage. This approach yields improved tumor sites enhanced antitumor efficacy. Compared alternative methods modifying liposome surface composition stability, this designs physical support an all-aqueous nanoliposomal Nanobowl stabilization liposomes is simple effective improve carrier delivery.
