ABSTRACT
The spin and orbital angular momentum (SAM OAM) of light is providing a new gateway toward high capacity robust optical communications. While the generation with well studied in linear optics, its further integration into nonlinear devices will open avenues for increasing communications through additional information channels at frequencies. However, it has been challenging to manipulate both SAM OAM signals harmonic processes conventional materials. Here, we report spin-controlled generations by using ultrathin photonic metasurfaces. manipulation mode waves experimentally verified second (SHG) from gold meta-atom 3-fold rotational symmetry. By introducing phase singularity metasurface devices, successfully generate measure topological charges SHG an on-chip interferometer. proposed this work not only opens manipulating but also benefits understanding spin-orbit interaction nanoscale devices.
