ABSTRACT
An unusual secomeroterpenoid, dysambiol (1), was isolated from a Dysidea sp. marine sponge collected the South China Sea. Dysambiol features an unprecedented secomeroterpene scaffold with rare lactone bridge. The structure of 1 determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis, Mosher's method, and electronic circular dichroism calculation. displayed potent anti-inflammatory activity in LPS-induced Raw 264.7 macrophages regulating NF-κB/MPAK signaling pathway.
