ABSTRACT
We demonstrate a transparent stretchable supercapacitor based on nanocomposite electrode consisting of silver nanowires (AgNWs) and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) modified with ethylene glycol. The addition glycol (EG) in the PEDOT:PSS solution can dramatically enhance conductivity polymer film. Furthermore, solvent treatment induces reorganization chains, leading to better distribution AgNW network. With EG-enhanced AgNWs/PEDOT:PSS electrode, an 87% transmittance be achieved at wavelength 550 nm pseudo capacitance 113 ± 18 F/g (areal = 2.83 0.46 mF cm–2) scan rate 10 mV/s. When it was stretched tensile strain 40%, even increased, owing closer contact. This work provides facile way produce highly electrodes using for portable power source electronics.
