ABSTRACT
We show a top-down synthesis approach to mass-produce phosphorene–graphene nanosheet composites with superior cycle stability and rate capability. Currently, using exfoliation achieve two-dimensional (2D) materials is primarily limited pure crystals. discover that high-quality nanoscale 2D composite sheets can be directly exfoliated from extremely low-cost bulk three-dimensional (3D) black phosphorus–graphite synthesized by mechanical milling while maintaining the chemical bonding intimate electronic contact between layers. The hybrid material delivers high reversible capacities of 2030, 2003, 1597 mAh/g at current densities 2, 4, 6 A/g, respectively. Quantifying dimensional electrochemical performance, we nanosheets not only have excellent kinetics for fast lithium-ion diffusion storage but also maintain overall structural robustness entire electrode long-term cyclability. This scalable paves way practical application in batteries.
