ABSTRACT
The combination of noble metal and oxide support is a good approach to reduce the cost catalyst improve stability nanocatalyst in chemical reactions. Here, metal/zinc composites, including Pd/ZnO Pt/ZnO, have been facilely prepared through general one-pot hydrothermal method. Importantly, morphology composites can be tuned from tube, flower, star skin needling-like shapes by easily adjusting alkalinity reaction solution. By investigating growth mechanism influencing factors differences ascribed various growing units directions ZnO crystal under different alkalinities. Among them, exhibited both higher catalytic activity excellent Suzuki coupling between iodobenzene phenylboronic acid reduction 4-nitrophenol 4-aminophenol sodium borohydride. Such supported will potentially used as green sustainable catalysts for many
