ABSTRACT
A multifunctional nanosystem based on two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) was developed for synergistic tumor therapy. MoS2 stabilized with lipoic acid (LA)-modified poly(ethylene glycol) and modified a pH-responsive charge-convertible peptide (LA-K11(DMA)). Then, positively charged photosensitizer, toluidine blue O (TBO), loaded via physical absorption. The negatively LA-K11(DMA) converted into one under acidic conditions. Charge conversion of the could reduce binding force between TBO MoS2, leading to release. Furthermore, easily endocytosed by cells. Photo-induced hyperthermia in areas promote release exhibited photothermal In vitro vivo results demonstrated that fluorescence photo-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation were severely decreased normal While condition, highly specific efficient antitumor effect ROS generation, suggesting be promising accessory
