ABSTRACT
In this study, nitrogen-doped carbon materials (labeled as NC-T) were easily prepared by thermal treatment of the melamine-chitosan composite. NC-T catalysts demonstrated good activity toward reduction nitro compounds using hydrazine hydrate (N2H4·H2O) reductant. The enhanced with rise pyrolysis temperature because ratio graphitic-type nitrogen, which might be active sites for compounds. NC-950 showed high selective in hexane to produce amines at yields from 87.5 100% 90 °C 2 equiv N2H4·H2O. catalyst comparable or even higher catalytic comparison reported metal catalysts. hydrogenation N2H4·H2O proceeded via direct way involving hydroxylamine reaction intermediate.
