ABSTRACT
A multifunctional cylindrical hybrid foam column, referred to as the chitosan/cyclodextrin/MIL-68(Al) (CS/CD/MIL-68(Al)) was prepared for first time. The column could be used adsorption/removal of hydrophilic and hydrophobic contaminants by different forms. Here, it placed in dye solutions investigate adsorption behavior methylene blue trypan blue. process followed pseudo-second-order kinetic model with R2 ranging from 0.9983 0.9998 0.9993 1.0000 blue, consistent Langmuir isothermal greater than 0.96. RL values were 0.8871 0.5366, respectively, which present between 0 1, indicating that behaviors two dyes onto CS/CD/MIL-68(Al) favorable. maximum capacities (Qm) 60.61 454.55 mg/g at 298 K, respectively. Also, spun into a syringe adsorb trace sulfonamides water form filtration. porous structure impeded need any external force equipment, allowing sample pass through smoothly. conditions optimized. carried out under condition pH = 4, amount adsorbent columns, no salt added. It found removal rate six 100%, reused least five times. Therefore, this had simple preparation method, offered flexible diverse use, nonpolluting, biodegradable, reusable, have wider application field environmental pollutant adsorption.
