ABSTRACT
A novel colorimetric nanosensor based on stable aggregation of gold nanoparticle (AuNP) triggered by carbon quantum dots (CDs) has been developed for detection Ag+ ions in the presence glutathione (GSH). First, is constructed assembling "shell" surface (AuNP), resulting generation CDs/AuNP. The solution color changes from red to blue. In absence target, addition GSH into aggregated CDs/AuNP exhibits dispersion state corresponding change blue red, because can prefer binding with AuNP comparing CDs. On contrary, again observed after target analyte are added. Therefore, new sensing strategy "aggregation-dispersion-aggregation" or "blue-red-blue" mode be established detection. This method selectively detect a linear range 100 4000 nM limit 50 nM. It successfully applied determination tap water and lake water. Our study will expand sight application CDs sensors, environmental monitoring preparation carbon-based nanomaterials.
