ABSTRACT
The synthesis of uniform MnCo2O4 microspheres and their cooperation with a visible light harvester to achieve efficient photocatalytic CO2 reduction under ambient conditions are reported here. materials were prepared by facile two-step solvothermal-calcination method characterized XRD, SEM, TEM, EDX, XPS, elemental mapping, N2 adsorption measurements. By using the as heterogeneous cocatalyst, performance CO2-to-CO conversion catalysis was remarkably enhanced, no decrease in promotional effect cocatalyst observed after repeatedly operating reaction for six cycles. 13CO2 isotope tracer experiments verified that CO product originated from reactant. synthetic various parameters on activity system investigated optimized. stability confirmed several techniques. Moreover, possible mechanism MnCo2O4-cocatalyzed photoreduction is proposed.
