ABSTRACT
Various in situ injectable hydrogels have been developed for protein delivery treating human diseases. However, most are highly permeable, which can lead to the rapid release of loaded proteins. The purpose this study is apply nucleic acid aptamers functionalize an hydrogel model control were studied using secondary structural predictions and binding analyses. results showed that different from experimental measurements numerous cases. affinity aptamer was significantly affected by mutations essential nucleotides, whereas it not variations nonessential nucleotides. mutated then used model. aptamer-functionalized could prolong release. Moreover, rates be controlled adjusting aptamer.
