ABSTRACT
Film deposition is an enabling technology for integration of novel functional materials into real-world practical applications. We report both the anodic and cathodic electrochemical film UiO-66, a prototype highly stable, zirconium-based metal–organic frameworks, using zirconium foil as only metal source. The fundamentally different formation mechanisms at cathode anode result in significantly coating adhesion strength, mainly due to oxide serving bridging layer anode. patterned capability method enables straightforward UiO-66 sorbent miniaturized trap online analytical sampling concentration dilute volatile organic compounds.
