ABSTRACT
The role of band bending on the efficiency charge transfer across TiO2(110) single crystal surface has been measured in ultrahigh vacuum, absence a wide range site inhomogeneities, impurities and solvent effects, particle size effects. adsorption Cl2 (electron acceptor) molecule O2 have found to enhance hole transport from TiO2 18O2 molecules adsorbed oxygen vacancy sites, increasing rate electron stimulated desorption (ESD) 18O2. This confirms that O2-ESD is mediated. Conversely, CH3OH, donor molecule, reduces for holes O2, reducing its ESD near zero. maximum effect acceptor occurs 1 monolayer coverage.
