ABSTRACT
Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are considered useful vehicles for medical therapy and diagnosis. Despite the progress made in this field, there is need to find direct, reliable, versatile synthetic procedures their preparation as well new multifunctional coating agents. In sense, we have explored use of imidazolium amphiphiles prepare AuNPs designed anion recognition transport. Thus, work describe (a) synthesis, by a phase transfer method, gold using gemini-type surfactants ligands based on salts, those acting agents into organic media also nanoparticle stabilizers, (b) examination stability solution, (c) chemical physical characterization nanoparticles, variety techniques, including UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron (XPS), (d) toxicity data concerning both coated (e) assessment molecular ability toward molecules biological interest, such anions carboxylate containing model drugs, ibuprofen, (f) study ligands, cell internalization, (g) delivering anionic pharmaceuticals. The structurally governed triple role responsible preparation, remarkable stability, delivery properties these functional AuNPs.
