ABSTRACT
Epidemiologic parameters, virologic characteristics and frequency of HLA class II DR DQ antigens were compared between 63 subjects with spontaneous hepatitis C virus clearance (group 1) 282 patients chronic active infection 2). DRB1*1101 moreover DQB1*0301 alleles more frequent in group 1 than 2 (33.8% vs. 14.7% 64.4% 28.6%; P=0.012 P=0.003, respectively). The DQB1*02 was lower (25.4% 49%; P=0.04). No difference observed viral genotype distribution 2. Univariate analysis showed that female sex contamination by intravenous drug use associated self limited infection. However, multivariate analysis, the only independent factor RNA (P=0.004). In conclusion, is determined (mainly DQB1*0301) sex, while plays no role.
