ABSTRACT
The present prospective study aimed to identify risk factors for subsequent clinical burnout. Three hundred eighty-eight working individuals completed a baseline questionnaire regarding work stress, sleep, mood, health, and so forth. During 2-year period, 15 subjects (7 women 8 men) of the total sample were identified as "burnout cases," they assessed referred treatment Questionnaire data from measurement used independent variables in series logistic regression analyses predict results "too little sleep (< 6 h)" main factor burnout development, with adjustment "work demands," "thoughts during leisure time," "sleep quality." first two significant predictors earlier steps multivariate regression. indicate that insufficient preoccupation thoughts time, high demands are suggest chain causation.
