ABSTRACT
Exploring productivity loss due to presenteeism, and how it can have an influence on employees' has been important concern for HR managers.Using the Conservation of Resources theory Job Demands-Resources model, this study investigated work engagement could mediate relationship between both emotional exhaustion negative affect presenteeism in a country experiencing economic downturn.A total 42 employees from health care institution completed ten-day diary survey (420 tasks).Multilevel linear modeling results, including power analyses, showed that predicted positively, while negatively.Furthermore, we found at day-level, mediated effects presenteeism.This highlights importance promoting reduce through intervention.
