ABSTRACT
Previous reports have suggested that some probiotics inhibit tumorigenesis and cancer progression. However, the molecules involved not yet been identified. Here, we show culture supernatant of Lactobacillus casei ATCC334 has a strong tumour-suppressive effect on colon cells. Using mass spectrometry, identify ferrichrome as molecule produced by L. ATCC334. The is greater than cisplatin 5-fluorouracil, less an non-cancerous intestinal cells either those agents. A transcriptome analysis reveals treatment induces apoptosis, which mediated activation c-jun N-terminal kinase (JNK). Western blotting indicates induction apoptosis reduced inhibition JNK signalling pathway. This demonstrate probiotic-derived exerts via
