ABSTRACT
Abstract Single-cell transcriptome profiling of tumour tissue isolates allows the characterization heterogeneous cells along with neighbouring stromal and immune cells. Here we adopt this powerful approach to breast cancer analyse 515 from 11 patients. Inferred copy number variations single-cell RNA-seq data separate carcinoma non-cancer At a resolution, display common signatures within as well intratumoral heterogeneity regarding subtype crucial cancer-related pathways. Most are cells, three distinct clusters T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes macrophages. macrophages both immunosuppressive characteristics: regulatory or an exhausted phenotype M2 phenotype. These results illustrate that has wide range heterogeneity, which is shaped by in surrounding microenvironment.
