ABSTRACT
Abstract Genes with cross-cancer aberrations are most likely to be functional genes or potential therapeutic targets. Here, we found a total of 137 were ectopically expressed in eight cancer types, which Holliday junction recognition protein ( HJURP ) was significantly upregulated prostate (PCa). Moreover, patients higher mRNA and levels had poorer outcomes, the served as an independent prognosis factor for overall survival PCa patients. Functionally, ectopic expression promoted cells proliferation vitro vivo. Mechanistically, increased ubiquitination cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1 CDKN1A) via GSK3β/JNK signaling pathway decreased its stability. This study investigated role may provide novel prognostic target PCa.
