ABSTRACT
Abstract Recently, metasurfaces composed of artificially fabricated subwavelength structures have shown remarkable potential for the manipulation light with unprecedented functionality. Here, we first demonstrate a metasurface application to realize compact near-eye display system augmented reality wide field view. A key component is see-through metalens an anisotropic response, high numerical aperture large aperture, and broadband characteristics. By virtue these high-performance features, can overcome existing bottleneck imposed by narrow view bulkiness current systems, which hinders their usability further development. Experimental demonstrations nanoimprinted large-area are reported, showing full-color imaging feasibility mass production. This work on novel applications shows great development optical systems future consumer electronics computer vision applications.
