ABSTRACT
Abstract Before they are used in the clinical setting, effectiveness of artificially produced human-derived tissue-engineered medical products should be verified an immunodeficient animal model, such as severe combined mice. However, small models not sufficient to evaluate large-sized for human use. Thus, large model is necessary order properly efficacy products, artificial grafts. Here we report development pig operational (OIDP), by surgically removing thymus and spleen, creating a controlled immunosuppressive protocol using combination drugs commonly setting. We find that this allows long-term accommodation vascular The OIDP essential step towards comprehensive clinically relevant evaluation cell regeneration strategies at preclinical stage.
