ABSTRACT
Abstract Van der Waals magnets have emerged as a fertile ground for the exploration of highly tunable spin physics and spin-related technology. Two-dimensional (2D) magnons in van are collective excitation spins under strong confinement. Although considerable progress has been made understanding 2D magnons, crucial magnon device called valve, which signal can be completely repeatedly turned on off electrically, yet to realized. Here we demonstrate such valves based antiferromagnetic insulator MnPS 3 . By applying DC electric current through gate electrode, show that second harmonic thermal (SHM) tuned from positive negative. The guaranteed zero crossing during this tuning demonstrates complete blocking SHM transmission, arising nonlinear dependence non-equilibrium density channel. Using switchable magnon-based inverter. These results illustrate potential anti-ferromagnets studying spin-wave application magnon-base circuitry future information
